Sometimes we have a hard time knowing which way to go. The shoulds of the past war with the anxieties of the future. Fear can hijack us from being our fullest most authentic selves in a myriad of ways. Get some clarity on how to find a way forward, how to find the edge between the known and the unknown.

Everyone's fate depends on our ability to communicate clearly and constructively. There is a vast difference between talking and speaking to enable others to listen. This workshop teaches concrete tactics for fixing and establishing great communication. Emphasizing awareness, responsibility and empathy, this method has been termed “nonviolent communication” and it helps us all elevate our game and win the day.
How are you doing on being?
Integration is the opposite of fragmentation. So many feel divided in life in some way or another. Wholeness can often be found when our inner and outer lives match up. How attuned are you to yourself and your place in space? How are you showing up in your life and in the world? This workshop centers around taking stock of your unsorted baggage and the long, black bag of shadow stuff you drag behind you, but also to notice what's here, now, and what's wanting to emerge.
If you are interested in scheduling a workshop around a specific topic or scheduling a talk or workshop for your organization, we're interested.

“Being human is not about being any one particular way; it’s about being as life creates you—with your own particular strengths and weaknesses, gifts and challenges, quirks and additives”.
—Kristin Neff
Well-being manifests itself in the mind and body—but a set of skills that can be learned and cultivated over time, just like learning to play a musical instrument or riding a bike.
Based on decades of research, science has identified four areas that contribute to well-being that are trainable and measurable in the lab: awareness is the area we will be exploring throughout this course.

“It is always hard to believe that the courageous step is so close to us, that it is closer in than we could imagine, that in fact, we already know what it is, and that that step is simpler, more radical than we had thought: which is why we so often prefer the story to be more complicated, our identities equally clouded by fear and the answer safely in the realm of impossibility.”
– David Whyte
Our tenacity moves us when we have a big thing to do that we know is the right thing, at the right time, and will be hard and worth it. That tenacity gets us past the edges that threaten to overwhelm and stop us from moving through to the new experiences where openness and curiosity can lead us to the other side of fear. Where we can find ourselves.
Moving toward the thing that scares us instead of moving away takes the most courage. But like Brené Brown says: "You can choose courage or you can choose comfort, but you cannot have both."
This experiential workshop will help you identify where you want to show up and move through fear by courageously embracing vulnerability. We will talk about trust and psychological safety, fear, courage, shame, and vulnerability as the bedrocks of living an authentic life. Then marry skill sets to the ideas above to build the adventure in living you've been wanting. Fear can be a daunting opponant, so we will leverage the power of choice to make it move.

I’m fairly certain that by now we’ve all either witnessed or experienced really bad leadership by people in positions of power. We see what it does, how it manifests, how it makes us feel, and perhaps how pervasive it is in many of the structures of contemporary life. We see this in boardrooms, organizations, governments, religious institutions, politics, media outlets, and Hollywood. Private or public sector, personal or professional life: If there is an assumed hierarchy, and even without one, there may be power plays and other forms of behavior that would not fall into the category of coming from “one’s best adult self.” How can we shift from lauding ‘power over,’ to a relational dynamic of being in ‘power with’?
In this experiential class we will explore the dynamics of power, trust, empathy, connection, cohesion and alignment.

The greatest gift you can give anyone is your own well-being. Burnout, moments of transition and trial, or simply knowing that what got you this far in your life, won't be enough to get you where you want to go. Opting for something more suitable, sustainable, and perhaps entirely new—though uncomfortable—may be exactly what is needed. Reintegrating your sense of self by taking a good look, a good listen, until the noise of our minds quiet so we can hear our heart. By realigning around that voice, we start to true-up. Considering how to align the "now, me" with the "now, us" "future, me" "future, us" paradigm enables the same pathways for peace for our future self and others. These ways of thinking, in order of magnitude, are helpful ways to find our path forward in light of the decision's impact on the larger community of which we are all a part.
Reconnecting with joy, rest, and recovery are at the heart of this course as well as learning how to maintain what you've regained.
